The Mid New Jersey Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) welcomes speaker submissions from talent development professionals interested in sharing knowledge, experience, and practical insights with our member community.

As a chapter, our programming approach is guided by relevance, intentionality, and member engagement. Speaker proposals are reviewed with the goal of delivering learning experiences that are meaningful, applicable, and aligned with the interests of our members.

We welcome a variety of session formats, including virtual programs, in-person events, panels, workshops, and special interest group sessions. Topics may include leadership development, learning strategy, technology, instructional design, talent development, workplace learning, and related areas.

Speaking opportunities with the Mid NJ ATD Chapter are offered as part of volunteer engagement. Presenters contribute their time and expertise in service of the chapter and its members.

Submissions are reviewed by the Programming team on a rolling basis. Due to volume and scheduling considerations, not all proposals may be selected, and response timing may vary.

Speaker Guidelines

To support a positive and member-focused learning experience, the Mid NJ ATD Chapter has the following guidelines for speakers:

• Speaking opportunities with the chapter are offered as part of volunteer engagement. Speakers do not receive honorariums.

• Sessions should be educational in nature. Sales pitches or promotional content are not permitted.

• Speakers do not receive access to the chapter’s membership list or contact information.

• The chapter will promote approved sessions to its members through official communication channels.

• Speakers are expected to collaborate with the Programming team to align session content, timing, and logistics.

These guidelines help ensure consistency, professionalism, and a valuable experience for our members.
