How do you distinguish yourself at business meetings, social gatherings, or the interview process? How do you recognize outstanding talent and character? What are Values? How can Values make us more Powerful or Influential leaders?

The most influential leaders all have one thing in common:

They all have a strong sense of who they are, their unique talents and areas of development, and above all, they are comfortable with themselves. Some refer to this strong sense of self as ‘Executive Presence.’ Others refer to it as having a strong ‘Brand’ that stands out---we refer to this leader as one who Leads by Values.

The more we live and lead by Values through challenges and opportunities, the more we develop as Authentic Leaders and Coaches. Values provide us the foundation for inspiring and influencing those around us, be it in the board room, at the podium, with sales prospects, to close deals, during a job interview, during a performance review or at team meetings.

 

As authentic leaders living our Values, we can land the ‘best fit’ career, surround ourselves with top talent and positively impact bottom line results (growth) and ‘next level’ leadership and make a difference across an organization. The rippling effects of us living our Values are significant.
