Mobile Learning

A "Lunch and Learn" presentation by Phil Cowcill

Registration is FREE but limited to the first 20 people.

There are a lot of designers and developers who have been in the learning and training field for a long time giving them a lot of experience. However, designing and developing for mobile requires a totally different set of skills. If you’re designing an interface for the desktop, do you have to think about the user is looking at your content in landscape or portrait. Designers generally don’t think if their users are right or left handed. While designing and developing a product or training, this is something that needs to be taken into consideration. During this lunch and learn session we will go over some topics to keep in mind while planning a “mobile-first” project. We will also look at some suggestions to investigate that takes advantage of the mobile only characteristics.
